Our firm, in association with the Academy for Educational Development, designed a five-year project to assist the Ministry of Education and private sector educational institutions in improving the quality and efficiency of basic education in Guatemala.

JA provided support in upgrading bilingual classroom materials, providing professional development opportunities for teachers and supervisors, and designed a monitoring and evaluation system that measured the participation of girls and Mayans in the classroom and in democratic activities in the community.
