After more than six years with Juárez and Associates, Dr. Ernest O'Neil has resigned his position as Chief of Party of our Jamaica New Horizons Project in order to accept opportunities elsewhere, effective October 2004. While he will be missed, Ernie has set the project on firm footing and a successful path to the future. We all wish him well.

At the same time, we are happy to announce the appointment of Jean Beaumont as Director of the New Horizons Program, based in Kingston. She will have large shoes to fill, but she is up to the task and ready to take on the challenge with the full support of staff and consultants.

Over the last few years, Jean has served as Educational Technology Specialist for the NHP and is thus familiar with the program and its goals as well as the management.
