Once the SOW is approved, the management unit may choose to select J&A as a sole-source, small business without competing the task order.

J&A heads a consortium under an USAID Indefinite Quantity Contract to provide short and long-term assistance to improve and expand access to quality basic education in developing and transforming countries. Program areas include primary and secondary education, teacher training, early childhood development and literacy training for adults and adolescents.

This award allows USAID missions and offices to easily access a wide range of basic education technical assistance and services in program design, implementation and evaluation. The award covers the period from September 2005 to September 2010 with work permitted until 2013.
